AbstractThe quality of ejaculated semen in respect of sperm motility, live sperm %, abnormal sperm % and freezability of crossbred bulls could be improved significantly by filtration through glasswool and sephadex, particularly G-25. Initially poor quality ejaculates improved markedly following filtration and this technique may be recommended for improving the usage of initially poor ejaculates from valuable crossbred bulls, provided fertility results are found favorable.
