Abstract

A case report of a pulmonary tuberculosis patient who suddenly developed acute paraplegia of transverse myelitis type while still under antimicrobial treatment is presented. Despite coverage with anti-tuberculous treatment and steroid therapy, myelogram showed suspicious filling defect. Exploratory laminectomy was performed with remarkable improvement. Probable aetiological factors are discussed.
