AbstractThe presentation highlights some issues for adopting OJS for medIND i.e. Indian Biomedical Journals hosted at National Informatics Centre. For putting medIND in proper context it mentions about: UNcat, IndMED, OpenMED and medIND. medIND has been discussed in detail while pondering on OJS adoption and the issues of - involvment and training of journal staff; File organisation and naming policy that is being followed; medIND Site Design; Content Page Layout; Browsing and Searching along with implication on IndMED database and cross linking.
