Abstract25 cases of chronic apical pneumonia have been presented. Klebsiella appeared to be the most common pathogen encountered. Chemo-therapy alone led to complete resolution in 21 cases. In one, chemotherapy followed by resection of the diseased lobe was done. 3 cases left the treatment and the hospital against medi-cal advice. Alcoholism did not appear to pre-dispose to this malady atleast amongst our cases.
