Abstract

1. 96 cases of proved pulmonary tuberculosis were studied out of which 52 (54.17 %) were having depression. 2. The incidence of depression was higher in illiterates and farmers i.e. 65.4% and 84.7% respectively. 3. The depression was positively correlated with the duration and severity of pulmonary tuberculosis.
