Abstract

The electrical stimulations used in medical science since centuries. The article reviewed the brief history of electrical stimulation of various tissue in animals and man and their effect. The article further extend the therapeutic aspects of medical stimulation in various sub and super specialties. The article end with potential uses of vagus nerve stimulation in clinical set up.
