AbstractThis double blind case control study confirm that the highly significant Computer vision syndrome symptoms score among the presbiopics. The symptoms can be reduced and or prevented by proper scientific optic examination and selection of right lenses for computer use. Educational and behavioral modification at individual level i.e. frequent rest, frequent blinking, generous use of lubricant eye drops regular examination of eye are also mandatory. The organization and institute should take necessary actions to idealize the Computer related ergonomic designs and environmental design i.e. Lighting, reflections, shadows ,leveling ,chairs to reduce the problems .As the presbiopics are significantly prone to CVS and still limited scientific methods to treat or manage the condition ; the government and higher authority including health department should reconsider the ethics regardeing the enforcing the use of computer by presbiopic.
