In a histopathological study carried out in 683 endometrial biopsies from sterility patients, tubercular endometritis was seen in 4.97 per cent. This rate is higher as compared to that reported by Saxena (1975), 3.1 per cent, Abbasi (1977) 3.98 per cent and other workers. Moreover tubercular endometritis was seen oftener in secondary sterility (7.86 per cent) than in primary sterility (3.76 per cent). Occurrence of primary and secondary sterility was highest between 21 to 25 years and 26 to 30 years of age respectively.
