Abstract

A 35-year old woman with diffuse malignant pleural mesothelioma with distant metastases, presenting; as a case of massive plural effusion and superior vena caval obstruction is reported. No history of exposure to carcinogenic factor was detected in this case. Aetiological factors, clinical presentation and radio-pathological diagnosis have been discussed.
