Abstract

RAPD PCR techniques were applied to study the genetic identity and diversity into Indian cattle breeds Kankrej and Gir with a battery of 16 decamer primers. The analysis was carried our by using Band Frequency (BF), Band Sharing Frequency (BSF), Genetic Identity (GI), Genetic Distance (GD) and Meand Average Percentage Difference (MAPD).
