This paper was presented at the "Brain Storming Seminar on Bird Flu" at The National Institute of Siddha (N.I.S), Chennai on 14/02/2008. This paper deals with the Comparative study of 'Paravai Thodam' with Bird flu. Paravai means Bird and Thodam means Touching. The causative factors, clinical manifestations, comparison with Bird flu, treatment aspects are being discussed.
