Abstract

Fifty cases of pulmonary tuberculosis and 42 controls were studied. They were classified according to the immunological spectrum. Sera of cases were measured for complement component three (C’3) and alpha one antitrypsin. (A1AT) by radial immunodiffusion. The values were significantly higher in patients as compared to controls. There was no significant difference in the immunological varieties of cases in respect of these two acute phase reactants,
