A thirty year old female patient presented with multiple drug hypersensitivity. The clinical manifestation of the hypersensitive reaction was severe Stevens- Johnson syndrome. She was hypersensitive to isoniazid, PAS, streptomycin, procaine penicillin and, probably, thiacetazone and a herbal medicine. Although the fresh episode occurred after three weeks of therapy with isoniazid, thiaceiazone and streptomycin, the subsequent reactions manifested within short intervals. Patient tolerated ethambutol, pyrazinamide and rifampicin and completed the treatment successfully.
