The scope of the Kaya Kalpa treatment is two fold, one is to cure degenerative diseases and the other is to prolong the life span. A study of the Siddha science for longer life and “Kaya Kalpa” treatment is a weapon which is preventive as well as constructive especially for the Geriatric people. The objective of this study is to discuss the scope of Aya BringaRaja Karpam and its therapeutic efficacy in treating geriatric diseases. It is concluded that the drug Ayabringa Raja Karpam has got Significant role in preventing iron deficiency in Geriatric cases and also facilitates prevention of ageing by promoting cellular oxidation and enhancing functional activity of all organs without producing any untoward effects. This is only a preliminary study and more research has to be carried out to explore this wonderful drug and its application in Geriatrics.
