Abstract

The case histories of 4,143 leprosy patients admitted between April 1976 and August 1985 were reviewed. One hundred and one were found to have evidence of tuberculosis, in addition. Of these 82 were pulmonary (35 sputum positive). Maximum number of associated tuberculous cases were found in lepromatous and none in tuberculoid type of leprosy.
