Abstract

Cavity drainage as a therapeutic approach for pulmonary tuberculosis is now an obsolete procedure. Spontaneous drainage of a tuberculous cavity by way of a cavernopleurocutaneous fistula is an extremely uncommon occurrence. We describe one such complication in a patient of cavitary pulmonary tuberculosis.
