Abstract

This short note tries to highlight the necessity of drug informatics in the promotion of pharmacy practice in India. There are a number of reputed drug information sources available in printed, electronic, oral format without which no patient counseling is executed. India has great potential to build drug information networks through pharmacists and pharmacy colleges.
