Abstract

Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme emphasizing on DOTS in the urban was set-up in Bangalore Mahanagar Palike. The objective was to identify socio-demographic and treatment related risk factors predictive of default with DOT and to study treatment regularity and final bacteriological profile of defaulted tuberculosis (TB) patients.
