Abstract

The purpose is to establish the rate of migration from the villages and taluks of Bangalore District with a veiw to forcasting the likely loss of study population in a follow up of BCG Vaccination in this area and to study their demographic characteristics viz birth, death imigration rates and the proportionate of persons temporarily absent from their residence. This study was also used to train a group of social investigators in interviewing methods in social research.
