Abstract

The present paper is based on 39 cases on whom pulmonary decortication was done as a primary or ancillary procedure between 1st April, 1948, and 31st December, 1953. In all these, the membrane has been of sufficient thickness as to. exert a marked limitation to the expansion of the lung underneath.
