This study on the use of terramycin in certain broncho-pulmonary conditions, such as bronchiectasis, lung abscess, aspiration pneumonia, etc., was undertaken in the wards of the Professor of Medicine’s unit in the Medical College, Amritsar. Twenty nine cases were investigated. Some of these underwent a course of terramycin therapy for a period of a few” months ; others remained under prolonged observation even after cessation of terramycin therapy. Thus the use of terramycin in some broncho-pulmonary conditions was studied in all its aspects. No attempt was, however, made to determine the exact status of terramycin in relationship to other anti-biotics.
