AbstractTwo case reports of primary cardiac arrest under local anaesthesia are given. No. 2 is a case of successful cardiac resuscitation about 10 minutes after arrest. A case is made for therapy using drugs like Noradrenaline, glucose, cortisone, etc. to counteract the likely metabolic effects of cardiac arrest. A plea is made for a study of these changes.
