Abstract

Tuberculosis of the spine is the most common of all forms of skeletal tuberculosis and an increasing dissatisfaction is developing with the results of our present methods of treatment. The harmful effects of prolonged recumbency, especially well known and there is a growing tendency towards early operative intervention.
