Abstract

600 urine tests were done in 100 ambulatory tubercular patients to find out if they were taking PAS regularly. The default rate was 77%. Women and those above 40 years and those below 20 years of age were the worst offenders. The possible reasons for irregularity have been analysed and discussed and suggestions given to reduce the incidence of irregularity.
