Abstract

Gastric functions have been studied in 30 cases of active, sputum positive, non-treated cases of pulmonary tuberculosis and 10 nor-mal persons. Studies of fasting juice, fractional gastric analysis and cytological examination of the gastric contents have been done. The only change detected in the patients of pulmonary tuberculosis is a mild degree of hypochlorhydria.
