Abstract

148 cases of pulmonary resection have been reported. Bacterial resistance to drugs is likely to be important in the causation of mortality and morbidity and has been mentioned though not vindicated by date. Adequate post-operative cover with newer drugs like Ethionamide and Pyrazinamide is therefore worthwhile attempting.
